HEATHCOTE'S Kodi Jacques will officially become part of history on Friday night.
The 19-year-old will be part of Richmond's first AFLW line-up after being named on the interchange for their match against Carlton at Ikon Park.
Jacques earned a spot on the Tigers' inaugural list after impressing during last season's VFLW competition, having joined the club after being overlooked in the 2018 AFLW draft.
When the former Saint was officially announced as a Richmond AFLW player it was almost impossible to wipe the smile off her face.
"It's an overwhelming feeling," Jacques told the McIvor Times in August.
"This is all I have ever wanted. I've loved footy so much all my life. I've grown up with a football in my hands, playing with my friends and family.
"To get in a position where I get to play at the top level is incredible."
Jacques will be joined in the side by the likes of Katie Brennan and Monique Conti who headlined Richmond's recruiting drive in the off-season.
Friday's game will get underway at 7.45pm
