If you're like me, the only thing you appreciate more than a good Jazz concert is the amalgamation of two words.
That being said the Jazz Supper Club at WPACCin Wangaratta on August 17 will feature the Jazztastic sounds of swing band Jazzaratta.
A group that features a host of Benalla's most talented musicians.
Jazzaratta was formed in the mid-1990s under the auspice of Wangaratta Goulburn Ovens Institute of TAFE.
It features, among its number, the musical stylings of Benalla locals David Roe, Felicity Munro, who started with the Rose City band when she was only 12, Callum Morrison, Jeff Whitehead and Jane Still.
Ms Munro plays alto saxophone as well as soprano sax. Jeff Whitehead will entertain the crowd with his tenor saxophone and Callum Morrison will be on-stage with his trusty trombone.
Jane Still provides vocals and the group have special guest David Roe on trumpet.
Tickets are general admission. Enter via Ovens Street from 7.15pm.
The concert will have Cabaret-style seating with tables for 10 and drinks and food are available at bar prices throughout the evening.
