TUESDAY’S stableford competition was won by Justin Gardiner with 39 points off a handicap of 15.

A highlight of the day was Adrian King scoring a birdie on the 16th hole.

Wednesday’s womens played ‘puttose’ which is a stableford pairs event with a different slant on scoring.

Regina Driver and Margaret Sims won the day with 63 points, on a countback from Dot Trott and Dawn Hudson. Cathy Shaddock won nearest the pin on the 18th with her second shot.

Thursday’s open event was a stableford aggregate pairs and was won by the partnership of John Mugavin 39 and Tony Hunter 37 whose score totalled 76. Adrian King won the singles event with a great score of 41 stableford points. Par balls were won by John Blundell, Paul Wintle and Carl Obst, while nearest the pin went to Brian Davis on the 18th. It must have been a tough day on the course as no golfer managed to score a birdie.
