Christmas Day lunch served

January 02, 2018

Santa arrived at Yarroweyah on a fire truck.

Santa arrives in style at the Yarroweyah Football Club rooms to help the Barooga Lions celebrate their second Christmas Lunch for regional dairy families.

A Merry Dairy Christmas.

Santa's helper Lynda Ryder from Barooga Lions Club helps serve up a dish.

The Barooga Lions club is continuing its support for struggling dairy farmers with the provision of a free Christmas lunch on Christmas Day.

Held at Yarroweyah Recreation Reserve, about 60 people attended and club president Lynda Ryder said it was the second time the event had been held.

The day was supported by Cobram IGA and other sponsors, delivered by volunteers and run in co-operation with the Northern Victoria Farmer Relief Drive.

Everyone received a gift from Santa.
