GRANITE Hills Wines in Baynton has received a grant through the second round of wine growth funding.
Granite Hills will put their money from the grant toward developing export growth, which supports Victoria’s 21 wine regions.
Victoria’s wine industry contributes $7.6 billion to the state economy and directly employs nearly 13,000 people, many of whom are in regional Victoria.
“We’re raising a glass to Victorian producers and wine businesses across our state and providing vital grants to take Victorian wine to the world,” Minister for Agriculture and Regional Development Jaala Pulford said.
“The fund aims to grow the industry by providing innovative growers, organisations and projects with funding to expand.’’
