HOLY Rosary is hosting its Mother’s Day luncheon next Friday, and you’re invited.
It’s a tradition that has been going for about 50 years and is still going strong, according to principal Paul Dullard.
‘‘A lot of the people going this year were serving the meals in the past — it’s a bit of an institution,’’ he said.
‘‘Our grade five and six students will be serving the three-course meal prepared by the Parents Action Group.’’
This year’s big ticket item for the raffle is two nights in a family room thanks to Cadell on the Murray, Perricoota Rd, Moama.
Mr Dullard encouraged everyone to head along and support the school.
‘‘It’s a great opportunity to come together and celebrate the important people in our lives,’’ he said.
The luncheon begins at 11.30am on May 11 in the O’Dee building at Holy Rosary. Tickets cost $30 and can be bought from the school on 54332057.
