Dot Trott blitzed the division one field on Wednesday

Jan Case secured division two on a countback on Wednesday

John Mugavin demolished his division two opponents on Thursday

Adrian Goudie’s 41 points secured him a narrow victory in division one on Thursday

ELEVEN ladies arrived at Heathcote Golf Club on Wednesday to do battle for the stroke event and final round of the Summer Cup.

Dot Trott, refreshed from her holiday in the west, blitzed the field with a fine score of 102-30-72 to claim the division one prize from runner-up Carol Stuart on 92-17-75.

Jan Case took out the division two event with 121-43-78 on a countback from Margaret Sims. Jan also won the C grade NTP on the 18th hole.

Thursday, February 15:

A total of 21 men played a stableford round on Thursday with some great scores posted.

Adrian Goudies 41 points narrowly won division one from Daniel Pianta on 40, while John Mugavin demolished the division two opposition with his 42 points.

Ball winners were Daniel Pianta 40, Paul Rolfe 38, Mick Tobin 37, Greg Long 36, Ian Furneaux 36 and Terry Shiels 36. Birdie balls went to Kent Davies (2nd), Daniel Pianta (13th and 18th) and Paul Rolfe (16th).

Saturday, February 17:

The ladies and men each played a 4BBB stableford on Saturday, enjoying a lovely golfing day on a course in superb condition.

Regina Driver and Sue Green scored the best of the ladies with their 43-point total and the pick-up pairing of Steve Ryan and John Dunn with their score of 45 points won the mens event on a countback from Martin Sims and Kent Davies.

The remaining ball winners were: John Blundell and Murray Green 44; Greg Long and Stephen Hudson 44; Ron Blachford and Joe Zurek 44. Tristen Wearne won the ladies 8th hole NTP while David Clouston was closest on the 13th with Dean Jones nearest on the 16th. 18th hole NTPs went to Larry Maxwell (A grade), Stephen Hudson (B grade and superpin) and Joe Zurek (C grade).
