Heat rule hurts finals chances

January 24, 2018

Eileen O'Brien's team won their rink in midweek pennant to help Heathcote defeat Bendigo East.

WITH temperatures exceeding 40C, all lawn bowls pennant play on Saturday was cancelled.

With the predicted temperatures for next Saturday to be 41C, it is likely that play will again be cancelled.

This does not help Heathcote Bowling Club’s division three’s chances in their efforts to make the four.
