NEW Heathcote Anglican Church Minister Reverend Doctor Margaret Wesley has enjoyed settling into Heathcote – the town she now calls home.

After residing for most of her life in Sydney, Rev Wesley moved to Bendigo last year and now finds herself in Heathcote.

“I’ve been here for about six weeks now and it has been lovely to be able to get to know the Heathcote community, it is great little town,” Rev Wesley said.

The Minister said that all locals are welcome to drop by the church.

“If there is any way the church can connect with the locals we would love to hear from them.

“We are all about community welfare here at the church so if people think the church can better them in any way, they should come down.

“It doesn’t matter whether it is at church or over a coffee.”

Rev Wesley also mentioned how excited she is about the development of the proposed children’s centre, as well as working with Buddies opportunity shop.
