OWN a business in Mitchell Shire’s rural areas or small townships?
Then why not head to a networking event to help you connect with fellow business owners, share ideas and grow your business?
The Mitchell Shire Rural and Small Townships Business Network will meet on Wednesday, December 13 in Tooborac.
It’s the second time the new network has gathered following a successful event in July.
The evening will give business owners a chance to celebrate the year, share stories of success and discuss what they have learned.
Mitchell Shire Mayor Rhonda Sanderson said businesses in rural parts of the shire were craving these types of networking events.
“The feedback council received from business owners at the event in July was that they really valued these kinds of events,” Cr Sanderson said. “They are really keen to have a space where they can connect with one another, catch up with likeminded people, hear what other businesses are up to and learn from each other.
“That’s what’s so great about this network. It’s relaxed, informal, everyone is welcome and it presents some great opportunities for our rural businesses to develop ideas and concepts.’’
The networking event is on from 5.30pm to 7.30pm on Wednesday, December 13 at Tooborac Hotel and Brewery. Light finger food and a drink will be included. To RSVP , call 5734 6260 or email [email protected]
