Lions’ carols night will be better than ever

December 06, 2017

DIG out your Santa hats and wrap yourself in as much tinsel as you can find — Community Christmas Carols are back.

The Heathcote Lions Club will be at the helm of this massive community event once again — and they say it will be better than ever.

Featuring an array of performers from across our town including children from the local kindergarten and primary schools as well as youth and community groups, the carols will showcase some of Heathcote’s immense talent.

The Marist Brass Band will also provide a talented backdrop for the singers.

And keep your eyes open — Santa may even be making an appearance at about 8.30pm.

The lighting of the Christmas tree will take place at the end of the evening.

The carols will be held on Saturday, December 16 at the Barrack Reserve, kicking off at 7pm.

From 6.30pm the 3523 Fitness Centre will have a range of kids activities on offer.

The Lions Club encourages people to bring chairs, a picnic tea and a rug.
