PYALONG Netball Club turned back the clock when it held an ’80s night earlier this month.
Everyone got in the spirit with plenty of big hair and music-inspired costumes.
Fifty people attended the social night, which raised $980 that will go towards the $1,500 cost of umpires for the season.
Club treasurer Di Zoch said the night was about getting the community together.
“It was a great night. Everyone had a lot of fun,” she said. “It’s always nice to raise money for the club but this was about having a social night.”
“We are really appreciative of the community support and are especially thankful for the ongoing support of our club’s volunteers.
“It takes a lot of work to make nights like this happen.”
